Happy New Year Everyone

Hello all, well another Christmas over, I can't get over how quick it has gone all that rushing around and the stress that goes with it.
We are now gearing ourselves for the New Year Celebrations, we will be having a quiet one this year.

How nice it was today to make a card other than Christmas, It's our Grandaughter's 4th Birthday tomorrow we have a party to go too, I decides to do Flower Fairies of the Garden,  Canterbury Bell, that is available from Crafters Companion. It is one of her favourite colours and she loves Flower fairies.
The Challenges I would like to enter my card into are:-

Cooking it up with Katie - Anything goes.
Crafting for all Seasons - Fairies.
Flutterby Wednesday's - Butterfly Fairy or Angel.

Grand Old Age

Hello all I can't believe how long it's been since I posted on here, where is the time going with the early dark nights and cold day's you just want to wrap up and keep warm.
We did finally do a little Christmas shopping last weekend but will have to get my skates on else time will run out.

Jodie asked me if I could do a card for her they were going to a 90th Birthday party, a friend Granddad, I just couldn't decide what to do, I suddenly remembered I had got my Steampunk cd., and I must say I really enjoyed doing something different, I always struggle with mens cards at the best of times.
I printed out the backing paper and topper from MCS Tinkering with Steampunk along with a boarder tag and sentiment, I made an 8 x 8 card base, I embossed a 90 onto a piece of scrap backing paper using gold embossing powder, I also had some embellishments to which I added some wings. He absolutely loved his card, and it was something different too.

Christmas Is Coming

Evening all hope you are all ok, I  can't believe there is only a few weeks to Christmas, I haven't started Christmas shopping yet I think I should get started don't you, lol.
I have been having fun with my Snowman Cds, from  Crafters Companion they are brilliant don't know what I would do without them now.
For this card  I printed backing papers  topper and sentiment from the Snowman Cds.

The artwork is stunning I have made lots of cards from both Cds.

I needed cheering up!!

Hello all hope you are all well, I needed something to cheer me up, I haven't felt to good this week not sure what it is probably a virus there is lots going around. So I thought I would look through my new S.W.A.L.K. Winter Cheer Stamps and CD which are available from Crafters Companion.

I Chose Love You Stamp, and printed backing paper and inserts from the design section from the cd, and a co-ordinating paper, I have used gold mirri card for matting and layering and have used my Grand Caliber to cut and emboss around this gorgeous image. I coloured the image in with my Spectrum Noir Pens. I am not really sure who I will send it too as yet, I will put it with my others I have made for Christmas, mind you I haven't done as many as I had planned to do, but never mind I will get there.

FLOWER FAIRIES

Hello all I thought it was time I posted it's been a couple of weeks, this card I did for my Friends Birthday and I chose one from the Flower Fairies range that is available from Crafters Companion.

I printed a Backing Paper , Co-ordinating paper, boarder and Topper.I embossed the sentiments with gold embossing powder, I made the flowers from MCS  die-cuts. I chose this one as we are in Autumn and it's from the Autumn / Winter range, I must admit if ever I get stuck for a card I always seem to go for my Flower Fairies CDS, the colours and images are gorgeous.

Twins

Where is the time going I can't believe we are in October, only a few weeks from the C word.
Here is a card I made for my Daughters friend who has just had Twins,I have used my Popcorn Pals Cd-Rom which is available from  Crafters Companion, I have printed a backing paper, Inserts and boarder from the Cd-Rom and the Images are from the stamp collection. I have added some buttons with ribbon through them from my stash and added some little flowers. I used my Spectrum Noir pens to colour in the Images.

NATIONAL CARDMAKING DAY - CHALLENGE

Hello all I didn't know it was national cardmaking day, so I had to make this lovely card.

I have use my Popcorn Pals CD Rom and printed backing paper, inserts, boarder and decoupage I have added a sentiment and made a flower to put on it too, this is a gorgeous CD and it is available from   Crafters Companion

First Christmas

Here is one of my creations I have done this week, this gorgeous Humphrey's Corner Image is one of all the stunning Images on the CD that is available from  Crafters Companion. I printed one of the Card Companions 

Image sheet a backing paper and I used some mirri board from my stash to create my card.
