Create and Craft 9th Birthday

Hello all hope you are having a good day, I am doing a bit of this and that,can't seem to concentrate I had some sad news last night my work colleague passed away, she had cancer, she was a very brave lady and always put others before herself, she will be sadly missed.

I thought I would share with you my Birthday card I sent into Create and Craft for their Birthday card competition, It's from one of my favorite Characters Beatrix Potter.
I have used an 8 x 8 blank card the papers decoupage are all from Beatrix Potter Cd available from Crafters Companion the flowers are from Wild orchid Crafts. The Ribbon and Epiphany Charm Embellishment are also from Crafters Companion.

Morning all hope you had a lovely  weekend, it went so quickly.
I am sorry I have not been visiting your blogs the last few days, things have been very hectic here.
Today's card is Lottie doing a roly poly  down the hill.
The reason I chose this image is Rob had a call Saturday night from his Step-Mum, to say she fell out of bed and broke her arm and was in hospital, she had to have an operation, so I thought a get well card was needed, and I thought this image was perfect and I know she will love it.
This image is from the New collection of Humphreys Corner, A year with Humphrey, which is available from Crafters Companion, this new collection is stunning!. The papers are from Humphreys Corner AllSorts  Cd-rom.

Good afternoon all,it's not very nice out there today, I am so pleased I'm not going out, I have had a morning finishing off some cards . after this post I am going to tidy my craft room it looks like a bomb has hit it.
Hope you are having a good day so far.
My card today is one I made a few weeks ago and it's from my Beatrix Potter Mrs Tiggy-Winkle From Crafters Companion. I printed of backing paper Co-ordinating paper and Decoupage, I have also added a border and sentiment from the Cd.

The Challenges I would like to enter my card into are:-

Time for a new Challenge at Lexis Creations

Hello all on this bright sunny morning, it's very cold though.
Another weekend over and half way through April where has the last 4 months gone.
Well here at Lexis we have another new challenge and the theme is Punches and Dies and our sponsor this week is  Fairy Dust Crafts.
For my card the image I have used is Scruffles Sundae Suit from Fairy Dust Crafts.
I have used an 8 x8 card blank the blue card for matting and layering I had in my stash, my paper I have used is one from the New Arrival Paper Pack from Do-Crafts it has glitter in the middle of the flowers not sure if you can pick that up.
I have used my Spellbinders for the image and border punches for the border.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon feather and pin are from my stash.
I am looking forward to seeing all your wonderful creations.

Beatrix Potter My Favorite

Evening all hope you have a good day, I had some cards I had to make today but could I get on and do them, no I didn't achieve it.

Never mind tomorrow's another day hopefully I will get them done.

So my card I have to show you today is one I made a few weeks ago, it's another Beatrix Potter.

I made a 7 x 7 card base using Centura Pearl and from my Peter Rabbit CD I printed backing papers, 

co-ordinted papers and decoupage, I have used ribbon from my stash and gems from Beatrix Potter paper crafting elements.I also used my spellbinders dies.

Happy Easter

Evening all hope you are having a lovely holiday weekend so far, Jodie came over today she took me to Newport and I spent far to much,new quilt cover and valence sheet, and I bought an external hard drive to transfer all my crafting downloads onto, I think I might have to have a new computer in the not to distant future.it seems to be on a go slow at the minute, mind you I have had it a while so it doesn't really owe me anything.

Anyway Happy Easter to everyone and have a lovely weekend.

I thought I would share with you a card I made this week for an order, I chose one from my Paintbox Poppets that is available from Crafters Companion, I printed the papers and the decoupage from the Cd, the lace, ribbon, butterfly and   flowers are from my stash.

Especially For You

Good  afternoon everyone, it was a lovely sunny day but all of a sudden it's gone really cloudy, it's not so warm today sign a holiday is coming up.
I have another card to share with you that I made a couple of weeks ago, it's another Beatrix Potter I am so loving making these cards, I want to get onto the new collection that came out two weeks ago, but I have been doing Easter cards.
With this card I cut out an oval base card, and used my Nestie's to cut paper and mirri for matting and layering, the papers and decoupage  are from my Peter Rabbit Cd, the ribbon and sentiment is from the Beatrix Potter Papercrafting elements which is available from Crafters Companion.
The flowers I have used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Focus On The Sentiment

Morning all I can't believe we are in April and another challenge starting at Lexis Creations this week it's focus on the Sentiment, for my creation this week I have made a twisted easel card.

Our  sponsor for this challenge is a new sponsor  Crop stop

To make my card I have used Centura Pearl Accents from Crafters Companion, the papers are from my Paintbox Poppets cd from Crafters Companion, for matting and layering my sentiment I have used Co-ordinations card stock core Couture.

The sentiment I have used is available from Fairy Dust Crafts The Miracle of Love.

The flowers I have used are from Wild Orchid Crafts Gardinias.
