Winter Friends

Hello all hope you have had a lovely Christmas, sorry I haven't been around it's been very hectic here, with me being ill and then my Daughter in law was ill the week before Christmas too, so I was looking after the children for the week.

Hopefully we have done now with illness, and looking forward to 2013, where has this last year gone!!.

I am sharing a card I have made for Crafters Companion Challenge, Winter Friends, I am going to shock you now! this is my first Christmas card for 2013, I am determined to make a few each week.

I have used Beatrix Potter paper crafting kit for my card and used one of the toppers and sentiments a few pearl gems and ribbon from my stash.

This is my first card since before Christmas, I would like to enter it into
Crafters Companion - Winter Friends.

Snow at Lexis Creations

Morning all hope you had a lovely weekend, I'm sorry I have been missing for a while, I am still not well, I have a sinus infection and chest infection, I have now got antibiotics so hopefully I will start to feel better soon.

Anyway today starts a new Challenge Lexis Creations and this week the theme is snow, I am looking forward to seeing all your wonderful creations.

For my card this week I have used my Beatrix Potter card making kit, I just ;
love this image with Peter and Benjamin sledging in the snow.
I used one of the card blanks in the kit and the decoupage image and a border, the doily is one of the centers of another card, it was to nice to waste.

Not long now !!

Hello everyone hope your having a good day so far, I am not feeling well again not been right since last week, so sorry I've been missing in action.

My card today is from the lovely Mulberry Wood from Crafters Companion, I made it a while ago now, how are you getting on with your Christmas cards are they all done!!. Mine are almost finished.

This card was made from the paper crafting kit, all I have added is the crystals ribbon and the card for matting and layering.
