Special Birthday

Morning all hope you are ok and had a good weekend, I certainly did, Rob took me to London we saw a show, We will Rock You it was fantastic, on Sat we went to London Zoo, it took us just over six hrs to walk round it all,  with all the walking we had done on Friday we are absolutely shattered but we had a fantastic weekend I would have changed it for the world.

Today starts another challenge at  Lexis Creations  Special Birthdays, for my card this week |I have used one of my stamped images from the New Mulberry Wood everyday collection from Crafters Companion.
I have printed two papers from the Cd and some of the embellishments, I have used one of my Spellbinders to cut around the Gone Fishing stamped image, which I have used my Spectrum Noir pens to colour my image. I have used mirror card for matting and layering.

As always I will be looking forward to looking at all your wonderful creations, so here is my card and I hope it will give you some inspiration, why not check out all the fabulous creations from my fellow teamie's.

How sweet

Hello all hope you are ok, I can't believe it's been a week since I posted anything , where has that week gone.
I thought I would share a card with you that I made a while ago, I don't think I have already posted it.
I am looking forward to the weekend Rob is taking me to see a show in London and I hope to be able to go to the zoo, for my Birthday, we are going on Friday till Sunday,
My card is from the Reddy Decoupage and it's the Morehead collection that I bought 2 years ago, the images are just gorgeous, I have used the backing paper that was in the pack and have used some Core'dinations for matting and layering,

1st Birthday

Hello all what a windy night, it's still a bit blustery here.

I am sharing with you the card I made for our Granddaughter Chloe's  1st Birthday last week, I decided to do a Mrs Tiggywinlkles from Beatrix Potter, she had a little party, I don't know where that year has gone.

She loved playing with all her new toys, she wanted to play with them all at the same time, lol.

The floor was covered in wrapping paper, she had a great time.

I was really pleased with how this has turned out.

Halloween At Lexis Creations

Morning all I hope you had a lovely weekend, it's been lovely here although we had a very good frost yesterday.

I am sorry I have been absent for over a week, my Cousin has been with us and we always have a crafty week, I really don't know where the time went.

Well today sees another Challenge at Lexis Creations this week it's Halloween, I am looking forward to seeing all your creations.

Get well wishes

Hello all firstly can I say a very big thank you for all your lovely comments and kind wishes for my Dad, he is doing really well, he got himself up today and went for breakfast, that's fantastic news, so thank you to you all.

Here is a card I have made from Crafters Companion Morehead Cd rom on the animal disk.

One of our neighbours has fallen and broken her shoulder, I thought this would be perfect for her as she has a black and white cat. this is a fantastic Cd all the artwork is stunning .

Pink at Lexis Creations

Morning all hope you all had a good weekend, for me it was very distressing, my Dad had a stroke and we went to the home to see him the Dr said he was in his later stages of dementia and they couldn't do anything for him , it was awful, it had affected his speech he couldn't talk Friday night, he was trying to tell me something I felt so useless I couldn't understand him, we didn't expect him to be with us for long.

We went in yesterday morning and by some miracle he was sitting up eating his breakfast we couldn't believe      
it, we were so relived the staff at the home couldn't believe it, he is a fighter my Dad he wasn't ready to leave us yet thank goodness, it has affected his speech slightly, but there is still time for improvement.

Anyway on to a more brighter note, it is PINK   (Breast Cancer Month) at   Lexis Creations this week and we are sponsored by  My Heart Pieces.

For my card I have used some backing papers from Nigel May's all kind of everything CDRom, my image is Elaina from  Fairy Dust Crafts, I have used some pink card for matting and layering and embellishments from my stash,
I have used some glitter on and around my image, I am looking forward to looking at all your gorgeous creations.
