Create A Scene

Morning all hope you are having a good week, well another weekend is almost upon us let's hope it is a good one for the bank holiday.

Today starts a new Challenge at Winter Wonderland and the theme for this weeks is Create a Scene, I have made a Scene Stepper card using Tattered Lace dies, I have used black card and rubbed some gold gilding wax on the figures.

I had some raffia in my stash so I have cut some bits off to create the look of straw, I really enjoyed making this as it was something different, I think sometimes we stay in our comfort zone, but it's good to have a change now and then.

No Patterned Papers at Crafty Cardmakers and More

Morning all hope everyone is well and had a good weekend.

Today starts a new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and More, the theme this fortnight is No Patterned papers, Lin is hosting for this challenge, 

I have used Silver textured card for matting and layering, I have used Nordic Christmas Frosty Morning embossing folder for the Back ground, The stamp set I have used is Winter Cheer from the latest launch Romany Christmas from Crafters Companion, Die'sire bow die and a snowflake die that was free in a magazine.

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir alcohol pens, I also went over the image with a Wink of Stella clear pen, but  to be honest I am very disappointed  with the end result it has more of a champagne colour than clear and it didn't flow very well either.

Never mind! I would have done it again but didn't have time.

Birthday

Hi all what a day it;s been, I think our summer has left us down South it's been very damp again,

My card today is another order for a birthday card with ribbon from my stash and flowers, so I decided to use a create a card die and my Charisma Sweet Pea die

I have used purple card and white and ribbon to finish the card off..

Baptism No 2

Hello all hope you are well, sorry I've been AWOL I have had a busy two weeks, I have been looking after our Grandchildren and also helping Jodie getting her classroom all ready for the start of Autumn term, I must admit it is looking good.

Here is my 2nd card I made for a Baptism for an order, I have used Christine Haworth's Angel Whispers for this card, this one is for the Mummy of the family being Baptised, I used one of the card Companions and one of the backing papers, the flowers I stamped onto pattered paper heat embossed them and I've used a Sweet Pea die from Tattered lace.

Baptism

Afternoon all I hope your weather is better than it is here , it has been raining again today.

I had some card orders for Baptism's and this is the first one I am sharing with you, I have used Faerie Poppets CD to create this beauty, isn't she so sweet I chose this one for Emily she is just a few months old I thought it was perfect for her.

I have used one of the card companions and a backing paper and card for matting and layering, the flowers I made using one of the papers and a stamp then embossed with embossing powder, a die for the flourishes.

Warm Summer Colours At Crafty Carmakers and More

Hello again this is my second post today, please scroll down for my first.

It is the start af a new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and More, Bec's is our host this fortnight and she want's to see Warm Summer Colours on your creations.

I have used a Hunkydory kit Shimmering Pearl, it is such a beautiful collection. I used a 7x7 card base one of the beautiful bard backgrounds and the gorgeous Butterfly image border and sentiment and gorgeous butterfly embellishments.

Eau de Perfum

Morning all hope you had a lovely weekend the weather was gorgeous.

This is my first post today I have two to share, Today it is the launch of Sophia's Sweet Scribbles launch today of her Eau de Perfum range, I have three cards to share with you today.

I have used Lilli of the Valley papers on two cards coloured card I printed the images onto Neenah card and coloured with alcohol pens, faux stitching and flowers made from patterned paper and Dreamees stamps.

Happy Birthday

Morning all hope you are well and having a good week, I am suffering with a bad back at the moment, I have arthritis in my spine and every now and then it flares up, hopefully it will soon start to mellow a bit.

I am sharing a card made with PollyAnna Pickering British Wildlife CD from Creative Crafting World.

I printed papers image twistapage and used black card for matting and layering, the flowers are Primroses and Ivy from Tattered Lace Charisma collection, I have also used Tonis Studio Nuvo Pearls.

Hello all what a gorgeous weekend we have had I do hope it has been where you are.
